Secretary General

Known for her eloquence, relentless determination, strong views and immaculate planning is none other than Namratha Prince, the highly revered Secretary-General of ISBMUN 2020. A level-headed person and someone with unparalleled wit and humor. Filled with determination and self-assuredness, she takes on every job with immense initiative. A mentor, a friend and a great leader, her team finds her to be an asset to work with. Though straightforward and stern, she sometimes finds herself in the midst of cracking jokes and letting herself enjoy the company of her members.

On how MUN shaped her as a person, she says, “MUN helped me to not give up even when the path looked rough. It has allowed me to keep my calm and work through any and every problem. Even if something deters my way, I find myself getting back on my feet with the help of those around me.”

Deputy Secretary General

Determined, daring and holding a vice-like grip on her beliefs, is Riddhi Rathod, the Deputy-Secretary General of ISBMUN 2020.  Inspiring delegates and bringing out the best versions of themselves, is the motto she adopted when she took on her position, one which she works hard to achieve. Having bagged numerous awards throughout her MUN journey, she still challenges and pushes herself to expand her beliefs and opinions. With amazing organizational capabilities, she also possesses good analytical skills, and works exceptionally under pressure. Her hobbies include cryptography and reading. She also loves Maths and adores the Fibonacci Sequence. 

When asked why she joined MUN, she says, "There's a lot of difference between the extremely nervous- albeit excited- 9th grader who was ultra conscious of her opinions, and the present 12th grader who is cool, calm, determined, loves public speaking and is resolute in her viewpoints. MUN helped me satiate my investigative nature, and to bring out my inner leader."

Student Director - Organizing Committee

Richa D’Mello, Student Director of the Organising Committee, is an ebullient, high-spirited person with a love for debating and working out solutions. Holding a profound fondness in organizing and planning, she is not one to break under pressure. Animated and super competitive, she has the knack to diffuse tension but also bring order. She enjoys playing guitar and singing, has an immeasurable passion for Sci-Fi novels and fiction. Her current hobby is learning ASL, which goes to show her love for constant learning. Her friends describe her as silly, intelligent, and hard-working. She cracks a lot of bad jokes and knows how to keep the mood lighthearted. 
On how the MUN has changed her she says, “MUN has made me feel more confident in my speaking skills, and has shown me how much of a difference my opinion can make."

Undersecretary - Administration

Joyful, bubbly and constantly optimistic is Rohith Raj, the Head of Logistics. He works humor into any situation, even at inopportune moments. He possesses strong negotiation skills and can handle responsibilities very well, even under immense pressure. To him, MUNs are both fun as well as inspiring. An exceptionally good sportsman as well as a talented orator, his hobbies include playing various sports and listening to music.

When asked about his own MUN experiences, he says,"Mun has always been special to me because it gave me a platform to express myself that I never found elsewhere. I was always interested in debating and related activities. Having heard from a variety of different sources that MUN is the best place to express who you truly are, I found myself signing up and voila!"

Undersecretary - Public Relations

Vibrant, witty and strong willed is the Under Secretary of Public Relations, Salvia Sany. She is known to be unapologetic, charismatic and confident, someone who is always ready to conquer what she wants. Her friends describe her as someone who is passionate about the things and people she cares about. She believes that the MUN along with the people who she worked with, all hold a small part in shaping her personality. She takes great delight in reading, singing and even knitting, like a true cat-lady. 

When asked what makes MUN special to her, she answered, “When I finally had the opportunity to use my voice for something good, I didn’t hold back. There is still a lot for me to learn in this ongoing journey and I am always excited for the memories that are created. Sometimes we are scared to raise our voices, to talk about issues we think are wrong; but knowing that my voice contributes to making this world a better place pushes me to attend ISBMUN every single year."

Undersecretary - Hospitality

Reliable and one of the most trustworthy members of the Admin Team is Anuja Suresh, the Head of Hospitality of ISBMUN 2020. Vibrant and assertive, she is known by her peers for her optimistic personality. Though introverted at heart, she pushes herself to new challenges to conquer her inner fears. She is always eager and does her tasks with perfection. She regards MUN as an excellent platform to hone one's leadership skills and bring life to their inner ideas. Frequently found with a book in her hand and a new fandom to indulge in, she harbors a passion for comics and drawing characters on the margins of her notebooks. She advises the upcoming delegates to not hold themselves back in spite of the nervousness and anxiety, and to express their opinions that might be the key to solving the issues of the council.

Looking back on her MUN experience she says,  “It felt liberating to do something that used to be so out of my comfort zone. Even though the idea of joining an MUN still sounds daunting to me, I wouldn’t have missed it for the world.”

Head Of Finance

Headstrong, hardworking and effervescent, Arun Kumar upholds the title of Head of Finance with an undying passion in tallying out endless balance sheets. With many MUN experiences under his belt, he proves to be a born leader and an even more enthralling speaker. When taking a break from crunching numbers, he takes pleasure in composing music and playing cricket. Always beaming ear-to-ear and cracking jokes, his easy-going personality wins the hearts of many. He recalls his initial MUN experience as nerve-wracking but soon found himself looking forward to it every year.

As an esteemed member of the Admin Team of ISBMUN 2020 he advises, “The fundamental step in MUN is to never back down and quit. Follow your gut and immerse yourself in the captivating experience of debating and facing any obstacle head-on."

Head Of Security

Vaishnav Vinod, bearer of the Head of Security, is authoritative, outgoing and goal-oriented. A force to be reckoned with, he is a fierce individual possessing a unique ability to charm everyone with his wits. Having participated in a number of MUNs over the years, he is an excellent speaker and a strong debater. Never to crack under pressure, he proves to be a valuable member of the team to rely upon in dire situations and always known to pushe himself even during daunting tasks. He enjoys connecting with people over a good meal, cooking, and playing with his dog, Bruno. 

To the eager delegates, he advises, “Be confident and respect others' opinions and ideas. A good leader always recognizes potentiality in everyone. And never forget to make great memories in your council."
