Students gain leadership qualities through experience. They take up the positions as representatives of their countries and make decisions, while being informed about the intricacies of international policy making.
RESEARCH AND WRITING SKILLS
Research is an integral part of MUN, and to establish your research you need excellent formal writing skills and MUN provides us with the opportunity to practice both.
MUN is a great setting to overcome the fear of public speaking. Students are involved in giving opening speeches, participating in debates, and negotiating with other delegates.
Public speaking
Students are met with global issues and conflicts which must be resolved efficiently. Through writing resolutions and negotiating with delegates, students learn how to face challenges and gain rewards for effective diplomacy.

How it started
The school has been in the forefront of encouraging and training students to be a part of MUN since the past 8 years. ISBMUN has been thriving since our first conference on 30th April 2016. Since then, the admin team has been working relentlessly to provide students with unique experiences and opportunities to hone their skills, resulting in our 2023 conference being recognized as one of the largest MUN’s organized in the kingdom.
WHAT IS MUN?
Model United Nations is a simulative model of the United Nations used to educate students about diplomacy and international relations.
